June 18 FYI will be moving my Blog to a new Domain and URL. I have imported some of the post from my other blog so it is not a blank slate. I am consolidating my personal Blog with my photo Blog. We drove up in to the foot hills of Mt. St. Helen's to and Old bridge on privet property. It is the Highest Jump Point in all of the United states. 20 stories tall.
When your rope is at it's fullest extension your head is 15 feet from the water, and on your recoil your head is 12 feet from the bridge.
I was not sure If i could watch with out passing out, As I have a really bad time with heights LOL Dave the sweet heart that he is, found me a spot on the bridge that had trees very close so the leaves made a canopy below me so I did not look so high up. Then I watch the group before ours to test my self LOL. I figured If i was not going to be able to watch I would have to hand my camera off to Dave. Luckily I was OK! I was really shocked, I felt nothing when I watched the people jump. My stomach didn't' flip flop nothing! WOOHOOO for me LOL
So I'm all set up and ready to and my battery starts to die grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So i got lots of shots but they are all a tad blurry becuase of the loss of power! Grrrrrrrrrr. I think this convinced Dave I need to get a back up battery just for such Occasions LOL
The father of one of the other kids brought his video camera. So he will give me a DVD of the events and I'm going to burn him a CD of my shots.

They had a DJ, Snow cones, kettle corn, pop,cookies and snack mixes, fresh watermelon, and of coarse Hamburgers.
What bunch of pigs though! I was shocked with the mess they left behind! I can not believe that they could be so messy and not feel guilty about it!!!!!!!!!
I was talking to the head custodian and expressing my shock at the filth! He said it is always this way when the kids eat!
 They drop their trash where they are or just get up and walk away from their mess. You know if we treated our cafeteria like that when I was a kid, we would not being going to have free time after lunch, we would be in cleaning from top to bottom!!!!!! He said he had tried to get something like that put in place but the school would not work with him!
I guess the poor guy has job security! I still am in shock!
There was a bit of excitement as the kids where dismissing and getting on the bus, On young girl decided she would take her top off and run through the crowd with just her bra on! Now keep in mind this girl is still developing so there was not much there and she had on a full bra so it was no different then looking at a girl in a bikini top! BUT WOW the guys sure thought they had seen something special ! LOL
I am not sure how she managed to have all the staff looking away while she dd it LOL but not one of them saw LOL
So school is out for 2.5 months WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!
June 15 Last Day of school!!!!!!! WOOHOO!Dave and I leave here in just over an hour to go help with the last day for 8th graders BBQ. Should be lots of fun!
Then it is 2.5 months of hanging out with my boys!
I don't have much else to say today LOL I'm moving a bit slow for some reason!

Tammy I will get back to your e-mails this after noon ;-) just wanted to let you know I have not forgotten you! June 14 One Day left of school!WOOHOOO! Tomorrow is the last day of school! I love summer! I love having the kids around.
Today Jesse Is having his end of year Field trip, they are at the local Amusement park. Poor kids it is rainy out. But I'm sure they are still having fun!
Tomorrow is the 8th grade BBQ send off. I will be there helping serve up hamburgers to the kids.
Tomorrow also is suppose to be Levi's end of year filed trip but he doesn't want to go. They are going on jet boat rides. Not sure why he is not wanting to go, so he chose to stay back with one of the teachers and help pack up class rooms. What ever floats his boat LOL
I will be having the baby's Over night Friday. Thursday is My best friends Wedding Anv. But since I will be at the school with the kids , I offered to take them Friday night so they can celebrate. This will be the first time I have had both over night LOL wish me luck! LOL
OH and Saturday Afternoon Jesse is going bungee Jumping
About 4 or 5 kids have gotten together and decided they want to do this! I'm so proud of Jesse for being able to do something like this! The thought of doing it thrills me to no end, BUT i know I would never be able to do it. I am scared of heights. and would freak out! NO different then I so want to do Rock climbing but I'm afraid i would get part way up and freak!
I am not making these thoughts on guesses, lets say a few years back I was almost stuck at the top of a mountain LOL i road a gondola up and was damn near ready to be hospitalized by the time we reached the top! My kids had never seen me in such a state and where pretty freaked out! I didn't know I would react such a way either! OY!
It took me about an hour to calm down enough to make it back down, I had to sit with my back to the down ward window and keep my eyes closed the whole way!
I can laugh about it now, but boy back then I was so freaked!
I just hope I can get some great shots of Jesse on his jump!
June 13 HAHAHAHH This is SOOOOOO Oregon LOLWe got our camping stuff out and set up all 4 tents. We then went about spraying sealant on them. After you spray the sealant on them you have to let them air dry for 48 hours so it can dry and set. HA the night we did it , it rained LOL It was suppose to be relatively dry all week, now the forecast is for rain LOL SO they just get to sit out there in the rain, and hopefully this weekend we can do it all over again! LOL
When you camp in Oregon ( even in the summer) first thing you do when you get to camp is set up camp then the next thing you do is set up tarps everywhere LOL becuase you KNOW it will rain!!!!!!!! and well if you don't put the tarps up you get wet, and get to put them up in the rain! It is just easer to set them up before the rain :-)
Last year we waited to long and had to put the tarps up in the rain LOL OH well Such is life huh ? LOL It made for lots of giggles.

June 11 So disappointed for my son!Levi only invited 2 boys to his part yesterday. One was a maybe we knew that. The other called that day before to confirm time and everything and Never showed up! Didn't even call to say he would not be here!
 I think thats I pretty stinky! His cousins where here but that is not the same you know!
Levi called a few times to find out if they were running late and no one answered not even an answering machine.
I mean how hard would it be to call and say hey sorry something came up and I can't come now?
grrrrrrrrrr
I'm even frustrated with the maybe guy, he could have at least called and said no I won't be able to make it.
Oh well I guess Life goes on.
June 10 To day is My baby's B-day party!Next week it will be official all my kids will be teens! for at least a month, Next month my step son will leave the teen years for ever.
So as I had mentioned previously I had told all my kids, that on their 13th birthday they could have a big party. They could go any where they wanted and so on. Jesse chose to just have a normal party at home.
Levi has chosen to have a normal party + 2 friends over. I have never had other kids at a party LOL So I went to the dollar tree last night and put together some goody bags LOL I got all types of glow stick stuff. I know my boys enjoy that stuff. I made a special one for the baby's. I got Zoie a little dolly and I got Zach on of those foam mats that the letters come out of ( I'm sure his sister will enjoy eating it LOL )
So in about 10 minutes I will be off to start baking his cakes. Then after that it will be a mad dash to finish setting up and getting things ready.
Keep your fingers crossed that the rain stays away! It is suppose to be cloudy this am then clear off, but this is Oregon after all! LOL

June 08 Now the stress begins!I got me 3 weeks to go tell vacation and in there I have end of school year stuff for my kids, getting vacation coordinated for 15 people, oh and possibly another 6 that might stop buy :-) OH and a birthday this weekend LOL that I am totally not prepared for! Get together with Shannon so we can plan our menu and put together a shopping list.
Get all the camping gear out and make sure its all there and organized. Put tents up and get them water proofed. ( they leaked last time we used them LOL)
Start going over my lists of things to make sure I have everything we need
Put together a list of things that the kids friends will need to bring them selves.
Make sure I get medical releases and insurance info for each of the extra kids we will be taking
Am i nuts? I will have 5 yes that is 5 teenage boys and 1 10 year old girl to keep track off! LOL Shannon will also have her 2 toddlers along!
Each of my boys will be brining a friend and then my Niece and Nephew will be coming too.
OK one thing at a time
Party! OK get house clean, figure out what cake to bake.
Ever year I let the birthday boy choose what cake they want I make it. This year My son says Surprise me mom! OY!
OH yeah I need to send out e-mails that the time Is not our normal time! we changed it becuase we have a Japanese dance recital to go to for a friend of my oldest that night.

June 07 FluffAll of you that are regular readers know that I very rarely post fluff on my site. But once In a while you either find something you really must share with other or you just don't have a thing to say. Well in those times Fluff can be OK LOL ;-)

Politically Correct Terms for Cat Owners
June 05 OH the ITCH OH AHHHHH UGGGGG AHHHHHHHHSo all was cool ( so to speak) with my sun burn until this morning! I mean it stung a bit, it burned a bit but all in all for as bad as it was, it was not as painful as I had really thought it would be. I was thankful I could get some sleep and only wake when I rolled across my back.
Then this morning after my cool shower it happen! The itch came!!!!!!! Now it is a battle to not touch it, It itches soooooooooooooo freakingggggggggggggg bad!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I want to just rip in to it, but I know i can not. So pat it and then I notice the pats are getting harder and harder tell I'm slapping my self! ugggggggggg Make it go away!!!!!!!!!!! I have layers and layers of Aloe on it, and then Aveeno on it LOL It has got to be the soften dead skin in the world LOL oh but the Itchhhhhhh ugggggggggggg
Did I mention that it itches really bad??? hehehe I almost want the pain back, at least I wanted to leave it alone when it hurt! I know if i itch it, it will hurt again LOL but I really don't want to scratch it you know.

May you all have an Itch free day! June 04 Yesterday wasThe All Ford Car show and swap meet.
I had a great turn out from our club. 2 showed and 9 others + kids and wives showed! All in all we had about 16 people and 2 preschoolers LOL.
One of my guys came in runner up in his class. WOOHOOO!
Me and one of the other gals got burnt to a crisp! can you say ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know better, I know that over cast days are more dangerous then sunny days. You just don't feel the sun the same even though you get as much bad rays. I slathered on the sunscreen before I left but I never renewed it. and well you know you are suppose to put it on every couple of hours LOL and I was there about 6 or so hours.
So I will get about a week worth of memory out of this sunburn LOL I tossed and turned all night last night. I had a tank top on so my shoulders, back and chest all got it. I would lay on one side until I could not stand the pain any more and then i flipped to the other or to my back and so on. OY!
Of coarse Dave and the boys have that perfect skin that never really burns just gets a touch pink the first time out in the sun then turns straight to tan, and then they just get darker and darker the rest of the year. BRATS!
But it was a great day! Lots of good conversations and lots and lots of Nice cars and trucks!!! June 02 My boys Crack me upFor Birthdays we always do a small family gathering. Grandparents, my best friend and her family type thing. Never any other kids.
I told them both that on their 13th birthday they could have a big party, we could go any where they wanted and invite other kids. Man I would have been all over that as a kid LOL but not my boys! LOL
Jesse says nope I just want to stay home and have a normal party. Levi just told me this week, he wants to stay home and have 1 friend over.
HEHEH I guess I dodged the financial bullet on that one  I have to say I am glad they chose to keep it simple. June 01 Track Season is Officially OverThat is one less thing on the plate to do! Track season is over and the school year is winding down! I just have to get through a birthday, and Vacation and I think life will be easy until School starts back up in Sept. LOL
I tell people I don't have time to work LOL I seem to be so busy all the time. Sometimes I wonder if I should get a job so I can rest a bit LOL
Jesse has decided he doesn't want to continue with track, he wants to try boxing. His reason for not wanting to do track Is he wants to be able to do what he wants each day after school LOL track practice is only tell 5 pm then he is done for the day. Boxing starts at 6 to 8 pm umm Hello that makes it harder then track to do what you want LOL Oh well. We just want him to find something he enjoys. Besides Boxing is not to bad price wise. It is a $35 annually fee for the boxing association, then $15 a month for use of the gym. That is so much easer to pay then a lump sum of 175 for track.
The Free public school system is so darned expensive these days! School supplies list get longer and longer, sports and music programs are so expensive out of pocket not to mention all the fund raising you have to do!
Any way enough of the bitching LOL
I was just recently given the Presidency for our on line truck forum state chapter. So this will fill in where the school stuff stops LOL It is lots of fun, we do get togethers and stuff. This Saturday, some of the guys will be showing their trucks at and all Ford car show and swap meet and a bunch of us that don't feel our trucks are show worthy will be there to look around and support our showing guys.
I just hope I can do a good job as President!

My mom, Shannon plus her family , and our Friend Jenn with her boys from Washington, are the only guests that made it. Every one seemed to have things they needed to get done. I so understand that ugg there is just never enough time in a day, or week or month or year to get it all done!
But it gave us gals a chance to chat up a storm.
My mom stayed a couple hours ( normally for her, she can't stay planted long any where LOL
Shannon left around 9 or 9:30 and Jenn left around 10:15.
The Little ones had a blast climbing around out side and the big kids had fun playing fooze ball and video games.
I"m totally whipped out LOL I so didn't want to get up this morning LOL I'm sure Jenn is worse then me poor gal had a 2 hour drive home.
I'm off to get my house back in order :-) Oh and after that I'm going to go weed, OY It has rained so hard for the last week that the weeds have been growing like crazy but to icky for me to go do anything about it! WOOHOO for sun!

May 27 Sorry I have been so sporadic with postingjust 3 more days and I get a few days break LOL Tomorrow is spend the day getting ready for our BBQ on Monday. Then Monday is the party. Tuesday is the kids last track meet of the season! after that I get 3 whole days to my self LOL
Friday night its pick up the Niece and Nephew for the weekend. Saturday Is the All Ford car show and swap meet. Going to look at the beautiful cars and trucks and show my support to our Truck club members who will be showing. Not to mention it is a great price for all day family entertainment! 3 bucks for each Dave and I and free for those 15 and under, well guess what all 4 kids are under 15 LOL that means for 6 bucks we get a whole day of fun for the whole family! LOL good thing all 4 LOVE cars huh ?
Last week we had Parent teacher conferences for the boys. I love going to these things. Even if one of them is have a bit of an issue with home work or what not, the teachers always gush over what great kids they are :-) Makes a mom feel good!
Today we went to My step dads house. His new wife through a Mothers/fathers day celebration half way between both holidays. So we went for dinner and conversation. I think I ate WAYYYYYY to much LOL I"m still stuffed.
We got Living History Lesson. We all know about the concentrations camps by the Nazi's, but I never thought about the ones the Japanese had. One of the people we had dinner with tonight was IN a Japanese concentrations camp in Indonesia when he was 14. His whole family was. It has made me want to research this more.
I love Living history, So do my kids. I love to hear the stories straight from the people that lived it.
Well I'm off to watch a bit of tv then off to bed for my busy day tomrrow!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. May 24 The Things we do for our kids!So We have been planning for over week to go watch a dance recital of one of Jesse's friends. This time Polynesian Dance. I was very excited! I love seeing all these cultural things we go to for his friends.
So Last night was the day! The boys had track they get home about 5:15 and we had to leave at 6. So I planed and made dinner a hour early we where ready to eat as the boys walked in the door. We ate, I got dressed, Jesse cleaned up from track practice.
We head out the door and try to make our way across town in rush hour traffic! OY! all you big city ppl know what that is like!
We got there about 2 minutes late! There is like no parking ugggg we drive through the lot twice, So Dave drops us off and we run through a down pour to the front door as Dave takes off to go find a parking space. It is raining so hard I look like I just stepped out of the shower with my clothes on LOL Jesse said " good thing you didn't have a white shirt on mom!"
  Truth be told I was glad too LOL Not what every one needed to see a Fat women in a wet white T- shirt LOL So we get in side the door and every one is Dressed not quite black tie but suites and dresses and such. OY! Come to find out it was the Service awards dinner for the school district LOL and the Dancers where part of the entertainment! LOL
We stood back in the corner trying not to be seen LOL we finally figured out the parents of the dancers where up stares in the walk way over looking the place of the dinner LOL we back tracked went up there and and didn't' feel so out of place!
Finally the dancers came out did there there ( The did an Awesome job!!) so 2 minutes after it started it was over LOL We say Hi to Jesse's friend then we head home! We had a 1.5 hour trip for 1.5 minutes of entertainment LOL
I told Jess if I had known what it was I would not have gone! I would love to go to one of their recitals, but this was not what I was thinking of LOL May 23 I Need all your help!!!!!!How the heck would a person go about getting marshmallow out of carpet ??? hehehehhe
I have no idea how it got mashed in to the carpet to begin with but I stepped in it and made a second spot LOL
My guess it had something to do with the cat teeth marks in the bag LOL my cat has this thing about eating plastic and I left the grocery's out a tad to long!!!!!!!
I did a short search on line and dint' find much useful information. I guess later I will do a bigger search :-)
Unless one of you wonderful People has a solution! May 19 So proud of my youngest!Levi has an above average IQ. He is very smart and his teachers and I know it. But it is hard to get him in to the classes he needs becuase well Levi tends to test out poorly. He tends to rush through his work and often chooses the wrong answer or makes little mistakes in figuring and such. Always mistakes he can catch him self if he where to take a second longer to look at what he is doing. Anyway becuase of this he tends to not be able to pass test to get him in to the more advanced classes. Unfortunately they have to have these test passed They don't go strictly on what a teacher says.
Well Levi finally Passed the test for advanced math!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOO! He gets to be in it next year! This year His current teach has been teaching him and 1 other boy out of the advanced book becuase they where so ahead of the rest of the class. Levi spends a lot of time in class helping others. He finishes his work so quickly the teachers put him to work as a Teaching assistant! Keeps him from becoming board and helps boost his pride in him self by helping others. This kid rarely has home work, He gets it all done in class. I'm always asking he always says no LOL and well his grades prove him right.
He also got in to the Student leaders program! In middle school instead of student body officers they have a program of Peer leaders. They help out at all school functions, they meet all incoming 6th graders this year then next year before school starts they take parents and students on tours of the school and answers questions and such. They had so many qualified applications they ended up having to do a lottery system this year! Levi was one of the lottery winners WOOHOOOO! He is so excited! I am too!!!!!! I love to see my kids get what they want!
I can so see Levi as student body president in high school! :-) . He loves to be in charge but not in a way that irritates others. he makes Friends easily. Every one just seems to love him! He has such a great personality and is so easy going and laid back.
May 18 Explosion at pool sideYesterday Shannon and the kids came over to hang out. We had a great Day The Kids played in the wading pool, we talked, we had lunch we watched a movie at nap time.
There was just one itty bitty issue during the day. I went to pick Zoie up ( can't remember why now LOL) and as I was walking back across the yard her swimmer diaper was just gushing water out. I didn't think much about it. UNTIL I looked down for some reason, and realized the water gushing from the Diaper was BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep Little miss Zoie had an explosive diaper and I was making it ooze all over my back yard! LOL can you say EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW LOL We stripped her in the back corner and hosed her off LOL no really I used the hose to clean her off LOL Lucky it was hot out and she really didn't care. OH then she saw the whole peas and carrots she had eaten with dinner the night before and well lets just say thank Goodness mom was on the ball and saw what she wanted to do with those peas and carrots LOL Again can you say EWWWWWWWWWW LOL So while mom redressed the little girl, I hosed down my back yard as well as I could LOL.
Later I noticed the blanket I had on the ground in the little play house was covered in brown wet marks LOL Looked like a puppy Had piddled all over it but in brown LOL I'm guessing that is where it must have started LOL
Lets just say I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad this all happen out side and not in my house LOL EWWWW once again LOL
I love you Shannon but that is not a mess I would want to clean up in side LOL |
